Felt - The 100 Day Project 2024

Earlier in the year I took on the challenge of doing The 100 Day Project.  If you are not sure what this is, it is

a challenge that artists set themselves toaccomplish something in 100 Days. It might be a new skill or a new

collection of work. 

In order to keep on track, you announce that you will be doing the challenge on your  Facebook or Instagram

page etc and then you post to social media every day for 100 days.

Although I've known about this challenge for years I have never actually taken the plunge and completed it.

That was until this year, when I decided to stop muckingaround and give it a go. ​But what should I do?

Whilst cleaning up my studio I took note of the fact that I had a lot of little handmade felted treasures

that were languishing in boxes. Voila! I had my challenge.

To take these small pieces and stitch as many new wall art works as I could over 100 days.

At first it was indeed a challenge to stitch and post my progress every day. However as I got into it I really

enjoyed the process. Each one utilizes handmadefelt and hand embroidery. I've had the pleasure of

making them and am now offering some of them for sale.
